Hi All,
Another week has flown the coop. That makes week # 3029 since I was born. When I look at that way, why I don't feel so darn old after all! Since we're talking weeks, this is week #380 of WOYWW. Please make sure you visit Julia and the rest of the WOYWW group at Julia's Stamping Ground. They make some of the most incredible things and are happy to share them.
My desk this week, total mayhem. When I walked into my craft room tonight, the scream that escaped me sounded like something out of a horror flick. (Cue the spooky music!) My desk is a shambles, leftover from the last week, the weekend and every day in between. I spent a good 7 hours on Saturday at a local library scrapbooking with some of my favorite peeps! Between getting things ready to take with, then bringing it back, here's what my desk looks like today.....
There is so much stuff out I'm telling you, it's killing me! In the background are my Fun Stampers Journey catalogs. I'm in the middle of ordering for a crop I'm co-hosting coming up in November. Still trying to figure out what I'm going to showcase and what my make & take will be. The crop-a-dile is out of my tool case. I still have the box of mishmash to put away. I haven't finished my Zoltar page yet, but pulled some other pages out to put my Cedar Point pics on. I finally finished a SU Paper Pumpkin kit that I've had for quite some time, at least 52 weeks! Since I'm bound and determined to use my scraps I made a two scrapbook pages out of them.
I used a couple 1/2 of 3/4 sheets of 12 x 12, punched some borders, found some bling, some bits and bobs and there you have it...2 scrapbook pages I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do with but aren't they cute!
Here's a close up of the SU kit I worked on. These are matching bags and cards. I'm going to give some to my Mom & Mom-In-law. They really appreciate getting a batch of cards and I know they will use them throughout the year.
That's it for me this week. Thank you for stopping by to visit!
Enjoy your week....
Until then....Stay AMAZING!
Hugs,
Chris

"Total mayhem"? I don't think so! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by earlier too.
Have a good week.
For me it's pretty cluttered. Guess that just shows I've been busy!
DeleteHappy WOYWW Thursday!

I can so relate. My craft room is in the same shape. But the messier the more creativity. :-)
ReplyDeleteApril #33
I haven't posted what the floor looks like...HAHA! Maybe next week.

I really like your bag and card, as well as the idea to create batches to give to family members. I'm real good about keeping my drafting table clean during the summer, but I have a hard time with that during the school year. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThe bags/cards were cuter than I expected. I make sure my mom & MIL get some of my stash. They use them all them time.

I'm glad you can't see the mess in my room at the moment Chris, you really would scream if you could!! Love those cards with the matching bags, what a great idea to give them as gifts to your Moms. Have a great week :o) Annie C #21
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't scream at all! I just need my stuff tidied up...I'm more creative that way. Have a great week!

Mine is #2470! I've never thought of calculating the number of weeks I've been alive! I don't think your desk is messy at all - busy, yes, but not messy! You can tidy that up in two minutes - or if you do what I do and just pile everything together, two seconds! Of course, I can never find anything that way, but that's another matter entirely! Have a crafty week and thanks for visiting! zsuzsa #28
ReplyDeleteHi Zsuzsa...Thanks for stopping by. It's already picked up and my next batch of projects is on the floor waiting for me!

Oh No your desk is super neat. Have to say giving anyone a batch of beautiful cards is a really special gift.

Thanks Sandra De! It's a simple pleasure to pass stuff on to my mom's...I enjoy it as much as they do.

busy desk and those scrapbook layouts are 'da bomb'…granddaughter taught me that…rofl! Thanks for visiting my desk earlier. Have a great week. Vickie #11
ReplyDeleteLOL...my grandkids are always teaching me how to to one thing or another on my phone!
DeleteHave a great week Vickie!
Your post made me laugh today - you have made some beautiful items but honestly, your desk really isn't that bad! I'm not surprised your mum and MiL are happy with the cards, what a great (and useful) present for them :-)

Both my Mom & MIL had 6 kids & 14 grands. The cards come are very handy for them. I always give them stamps too. It beats knick-knacks hands down!

Did my comment come through? I hope I didn't press the wrong button.
ReplyDeleteNeet 22 xx
Obviously my comment did not make it. Here goes:
ReplyDeleteWhen I visited your blog and saw your desk I thought how nice and tidy it was - and then read you thought it was mayhem. Funny how we all have different views on a messy desk. I must be uber-messy!
I am sure that by November you will have sorted your workshop our and will be well organised. Good Luck.
Hugs & Thanks for visiting me earlier
Neet 22 xx
LOL your desk is like my desk when I think it's messy not so much :)
ReplyDeleteHappy late WOYWW hugs Nikki
